Patones de Arriba is a beautiful village in the north forest of the Comunidad de Madrid. For its proximity to Madrid (60km), it is a good way to escape city life for a day or two. The village is about 800m above sea level and offers a stunning view of the "Sierra".
I went there with some friends during the "Semana Santa" (Easter) on April 1st. They are different hikes to do all around the village. The most famous and the most beautiful is definitely "Patones de Arriba al Cancho de la Cabeza". It is an approximately 4 hours walk.(https://fr.wikiloc.com/itineraires-randonnee/patones-de-arriba-al-cancho-de-la-cabeza-17022545)
