Street India.

Updated: Dec 21, 2020

In September 2018, I flew to New Delhi for two weeks with the mission to capture the fascinating street life of 4 Indian cities: New Delhi, Mathura, Agra (Uttar Pradesh) & Jaipur (Rajasthan).

For several decades, the country of Gandhi has lured photographers from all around the world. Its architectural richness and lively colours convey a strong and unique message through simple yet powerful images that take you on a journey away from reality. India is a country of contrast where the difference in living standard is evident. It is a melting pot of different cultures and traditions with a diversity that offers the opportunity to capture multiple scenarios on its streets.

It was my first time in India, and it has always been a dream to visit the country of the Taj Mahal. However, the Taj Mahal is not part of this photo series as I decided to focus on the streets.

I have made a book called "Street India" out of those photos, with more photos. Available on the Blurb Platform (Link: https://www.blurb.fr/b/9685951-street-india). This series is also available for Exposition.
